Roadside Assistance and Recovery JD Motors has a fleet of specialised vehicles available 24 hours a day to provide roadside assistance and recovery to motoring organisation members,
insurance companies, local police forces, franchised garages, local authorities and the general public.

JD Motors are available round the clock to recover commercial, coach or PSV vehicles
following a breakdown or accident. Our heavy recovery vehicles are equipped with the latest "Maxi-reach" under lifts
for carrying out a zero damage recovery of any heavy commercial vehicle.
Our staff are also highly experienced to effect a safe and efficient rescue of buses and coaches back to base or to a repair centre.

Serious Road Traffic Incidents
It is vital that the police properly investigate crashes where people are killed or seriously injured, but this need has to be set
against the requirement to keep traffic moving. Delay in reopening roads costs the economy billions of pounds each year, and the
congestion it causes can also lead to further accidents. Recovery trucks are immediately available from JD Motors to recovery
immobilized vehicles and debris back to their Alton depot.

Impounded Vehicles
The police have the power to seize vehicles which are being driven by uninsured drivers or drivers who do not have a valid driving
licence. If JD Motors recovers the vehicle on Police instructions, it will be stored in our secure undercover accommodation at Alton
for the next 14 days. Within this timeframe, bring appropriate documentation to collect your vehicle. On the fifteen day it will be
despatch to the crushing plant.
