JD MOTORS WORKING WITH HAMPSHIRE FIRE AND RESCUE
On 22 September 2005 JD Motors organised a Hazardous Chemical Drill for Hampshire Fire and
Rescue, which involved us setting up a traffic accident with a Panel Van, with two 45 gallon drums of make
believe dangerous chemical in the rear.
The Fire Crew set up all relevant cordons and addressed the drill in full Breathing Apparatus whilst under
supervision of senior fire officers, the exercise went extremely well, with just a few observations addressed.
Alton's Hampshire Fire & Rescue crew train every Thursday evening and, at least once a month, JD Motors
supply damaged vehicles for them to practise casualty removal on our premises.
